One of the most memorable moments was during a project where students used Book Creator to design digital logbooks for Pergerakan Puteri Islam Malaysia. Watching their excitement as they added personalized touches like drawings, reflections, and multimedia elements was incredibly rewarding.

Students who were initially hesitant to use technology became more confident and proud of their creations. One student shared how seeing her work "come to life" on the screen made her realize the potential of her creativity.

Another standout was when teenage students created pastry recipe books during the PPPS3013 Penghasilan Produk Pastri course. They not only documented recipes but also included step-by-step photos and tips. When the final products were shared, students were thrilled to see their books viewed and praised by others.

These projects not only enhanced digital literacy but also fostered a sense of accomplishment and creativity among the students, showing the transformative power of combining technology with meaningful activities.

Empowering Literacy, Inclusion, Creativity, and Reflection

Using Book Creator, I support literacy by encouraging students to write reflections, stories, and academic content in a visually engaging format, enhancing their ability to express ideas effectively. I promote inclusion by fostering diverse content creation, enabling students from various backgrounds, such as those in Sabah, to integrate their cultural identities into projects like logbooks or recipe books.

To boost creativity, I encourage the use of multimedia elements—images, audio, and videos—allowing students to personalize their books and think outside the box. Additionally, students compile their best work into digital portfolios, showcasing their growth, achievements, and creativity in an organized and accessible format.
